TERMS OF SERVICE.

These terms cover booking junk removal through junkzipp.com and the JunkZipp app. By requesting a price, approving one, or using the site, you agree to them. Haulers who take jobs through JunkZipp are also bound by the Hauler Agreement.

01 · What JunkZipp is

JunkZipp is a junk-removal booking service operated from Miami-Dade County, Florida (“JunkZipp,” “we,” “us”). You send us photos of what you want gone, we send you a price, and once you approve it we arrange for a licensed and insured hauling company to do the work. You book with JunkZipp and you pay JunkZipp.

The truck and crew that show up belong to an independent hauling company we have approved and dispatched (a “hauler”). Haulers are independent contractors, not our employees, and they do not have authority to make promises on our behalf beyond the job they were sent to do.

02 · Your price

We price each job from the photos and details you send. There is no fixed price chart. The price we send you covers labor, the truck, disposal fees and tax for what the photos show. It is sent to you by email and in the app. If you approve it more than seven days after we sent it, we may check the photos again before dispatching.

Nothing is booked, nobody is dispatched and nothing is owed until you approve the price. You can decline or ignore it at no cost.

If there is more than the photos showed. If the hauler arrives and the load is larger, heavier or different from what you sent (extra rooms, items behind a door, a fridge that was not in the picture), they will photograph it and send you a new price through JunkZipp. You can approve it or keep the job to what was originally estimated. The price never changes without your approval.

Items that cost extra to dispose of legally (refrigerants, mattresses, tires, tube televisions, paint and chemicals) are included in the price when you tell us about them. If they turn up on the day and were not disclosed, they are handled as a change to the price under the paragraph above.

03 · Payment

You pay JunkZipp when the job is done, not before. When the load is out you will get an email with the approved amount and how to pay it: Zelle, a check made out to JunkZipp, or card over the phone. Payment is due the same day, and you will receive a receipt by email once it lands. No card is required to book and nothing is charged in advance.

The crew does not take payment. Haulers are not allowed to accept money from you, give you a different price, or offer to do the job outside JunkZipp. If one asks, say no and tell us. JunkZipp pays the hauler.

If you cannot pay at completion, contact us at junkzipp@0arch.io the same day. Unpaid balances may be referred for collection, and we may decline future bookings until they are settled.

04 · Scheduling and cancellation

You can book as soon as possible or pick a two-hour window. We will confirm the hauler and their arrival by email and, if you use the app, push notification, and you can see the truck on the map in the app once they are on the way. We do not send text messages today.

Cancelling is free until your hauler is on the way. Until then you can cancel yourself from your pickup page or the app. Once the hauler has set off, cancel by emailing junkzipp@0arch.io: a cancellation after the hauler is on the way, or nobody there when the truck arrives, carries a $45 trip fee, because the hauler has already committed the truck and crew. JunkZipp bills the trip fee the same way as a job: you pay JunkZipp by Zelle, check or card over the phone, never the crew, and you get a receipt by email.

If we cannot find a hauler for your job, we will tell you and you owe nothing. If a hauler cancels on us, we will try to reassign the job and tell you either way; you owe nothing for a job that is not done.

05 · What we need from you

By booking, you confirm that:

  • you own the items or have the right to have them removed;
  • the photos and description are honest and show what is there;
  • the items will be reachable at the time of pickup, and you have told us about stairs, gates, elevators or parking that affect the job;
  • the load does not contain hazardous or prohibited materials (asbestos, medical waste, biohazards, ammunition, sealed drums, or anything a licensed hauler cannot legally take). Paint, chemicals and batteries must be declared so they can be handled correctly.

If a hauler arrives and the job cannot be done for one of these reasons, it is treated as a cancellation on arrival.

06 · Who we send

Before a hauler can take jobs through JunkZipp we require a copy of their business license and a certificate of insurance, a real business name and working phone, and their agreement to the Hauler Agreement, including its conduct rules. We keep those documents on file and record their expiry dates.

That is what “licensed and insured” means on this site. We do not run background checks on crews, inspect vehicles, or supervise the work. If you have a concern about a hauler, tell us at junkzipp@0arch.io and we will act on it, including removing them from the platform.

07 · If something goes wrong

Tell us. Damage, a no-show, a crew that was rude, a bill that did not match the approved price: email junkzipp@0arch.io with your job code within seven days and we will look into it, involve the hauler and their insurer where appropriate, and tell you what we find.

Claims for damage to property are made against the hauler and their insurance, which is why we require it. We will help you make that claim. JunkZipp’s own liability is limited as set out below.

08 · Acceptable use

Do not book jobs you do not intend to go through with, upload photos you do not have the right to share, harass haulers or staff, scrape the site, attempt to break sign-in, or use JunkZipp for anything illegal. Do not hire a hauler you met through JunkZipp for the same job off the platform in order to avoid the approved price; the hauler has agreed not to accept it, and we may close your account.

09 · Disclaimers

THE SITE AND THE APP ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

ARRIVAL TIMES AND MAP POSITIONS ARE ESTIMATES. THE HAULING WORK ITSELF IS PERFORMED BY AN INDEPENDENT HAULER, AND JUNKZIPP DOES NOT WARRANT THE HAULER’S WORKMANSHIP BEYOND THE COMMITMENTS IN THESE TERMS.

10 · Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JUNKZIPP’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO A BOOKING OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID JUNKZIPP FOR THE JOB IN QUESTION, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS IF NOTHING WAS PAID. JUNKZIPP IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF ITEMS YOU ASKED TO HAVE REMOVED. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU IN FULL.

11 · Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before going to court, you agree to email junkzipp@0arch.io and give us thirty days to try to resolve the dispute with you.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved that way will be brought in the state or federal courts seated in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to that venue. Small-claims actions may be brought in the appropriate small claims court instead.

12 · Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The effective date above changes when we do, and a booking is governed by the terms in force when you approved its price. Material changes affecting an open booking will be sent to the email on the booking.
