How much does junk removal cost in Miami?

Junk removal in Miami has no fixed price at JunkZipp: a person prices each job from your photos, by how much truck space it fills, how heavy it is, how hard it is to reach, and whether it includes items that cost extra to dispose of.

How junk removal is priced in Miami: volume, weight, stairs and access, and what the dump charges extra for. One price from your photos, no booking fee.

There is no price list, and that is the point

Every junk removal company in Miami gets the same first question: how much? Most answer with a chart. A quarter truck, a half truck, a full truck, each with a number next to it, and then a crew shows up and tells you your pile is "more like a three-quarter load." The number on the chart was never the number you were going to pay.

JunkZipp does it the other way around. You send photos of the junk. A person looks at them and sends you one price for your pile, in your building, with your stairs. You approve it or you do not. Nothing is booked, nobody is dispatched, and nothing is owed until you say yes. The price you approve is the price you pay when the junk is gone.

That means we cannot put a number on this page that would be true for you. What we can do is tell you exactly what moves the price up and down, so the photos you send get you a fair one.

What decides the price

Four things, in this order.

Volume. How much room your stuff takes in the truck. A loveseat and a mattress is a small job. A garage you cannot walk into in Kendall is a medium one. A three-bedroom estate cleanout in North Miami with the furniture, the boxes and forty years of a closet is a large one. The photos show this better than any description does.

Weight. Couches and cardboard are light. Tile, concrete pavers, a cast iron tub, wet carpet after a storm, and bags of dirt are not. Heavy loads cost more because the dump charges by weight and because the crew works harder. If part of your pile is heavy, photograph that part on its own.

Access. Ground floor with a driveway is the easy case. A fourth floor walk-up in Little Havana, a condo in Brickell where everything goes down a freight elevator on a schedule, a townhouse in Doral with a shared driveway the truck cannot enter, or a house in the Redland at the end of a long unpaved drive all add time. Time is part of the price. Tell us about the stairs and the elevator in the note with your photos and the price accounts for it the first time instead of changing on the day.

What the dump charges extra for. Some items cost more to get rid of legally, and that cost passes through: fridges, freezers and AC units (the refrigerant has to be recovered), mattresses and box springs, tires, tube TVs and some electronics, paint and chemicals. None of them are a problem. Hiding one at the bottom of the pile is, because the price changes when the hauler finds it.

What does not change the price

Your zip code does not. A pickup in Aventura and a pickup in Homestead are priced by the same rules; JunkZipp covers all 79 zips in Miami-Dade and the number depends on the pile, not the address. Booking online instead of calling does not. There is no booking fee, and nothing is charged before the job is done. Cancelling is free until the hauler is on the way; after that a $45 trip fee applies.

The free option, and when it is actually better

If you live in unincorporated Miami-Dade and pay the county for trash service, you get two free bulky waste pickups a year. You put the items on the swale, schedule the pickup, and wait for the route. For a couch and a few chairs that you can carry to the curb yourself and do not mind sitting outside for a while, use it. It is free.

It is not the answer when the pile is indoors, when there is more than the county will take, when you live in a city that runs its own collection with its own rules (Homestead, Hialeah, Miami Beach, Coral Gables and North Miami among them), when there is a closing date or a move-out inspection, or when the HOA does not want a pile on the swale for a week. That is the job we do.

How to get a price that does not change

Send photos in decent light, from far enough back that the whole pile is in frame, plus one close-up of anything heavy or anything from the list above. Add a one-line note: which floor, elevator or stairs, whether the truck can get close, and whether there is a deadline. That is enough for a person to price it once and price it right.

You approve the price, a licensed and insured hauler takes the job, you see them on the map on the way, and you pay JunkZipp once the load is gone, by Zelle, card or check. The crew never takes payment.

Send photos of what you have, get one price for your pile, approve it, and it is gone.

Common questions about the price

How much does junk removal cost in Miami?
JunkZipp does not use a price chart: each job is priced by a person from your photos, by how much room it takes in the truck, how heavy it is, how hard it is to reach, and whether it includes items that cost extra to dispose of, like fridges, mattresses, tires and paint. The estimate is free, there is no booking fee, and you pay JunkZipp only once the junk is gone.
How much does junk removal cost per truckload in Miami?
JunkZipp does not sell junk removal by the truckload or post a per-load price, because the same part of a truck can hold light cardboard or heavy tile. A person prices your actual pile from photos, and the number you approve is the number you pay unless there turns out to be more than the photos showed.
How much does a garage cleanout cost in Miami?
A garage cleanout in Miami is priced from photos like any other JunkZipp job: how full the garage is, how heavy the contents are, and whether it holds paint, tires or an old fridge that cost extra to dispose of. Photograph the whole space, shelves and overhead storage included, and you get one price to approve before a truck is sent.
How do I get a junk removal price from photos in Miami?
Send JunkZipp photos of the whole pile at junkzipp.com/book, plus a note about stairs, elevators or anything heavy, and a person looks at them and emails you one price for the job. The estimate is free, and the price you approve is the price you pay unless there turns out to be more than the photos showed, in which case you approve the new number first.
Does my zip code change the price?
No. JunkZipp covers every zip in Miami-Dade, Aventura to Florida City, and the price depends on the pile, not the address.
